You wish to study in France in the Groupe ESA.
So, you may be entitled to financial aid. First, visit the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

You wish to do an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course : BSc, MSc, ‘Ingénieur’,

you have different possibilities from public and private sectors :

French embassies abroad :
- French embassies propose financial aid to foreign students who want to come to France.
- Request the application form from the French embassy in your country of origin.

The Egide association - Eiffel programme :
These grants concern students from any country in the world who want to come to France.
- Scholarship : 1 181 € / month (in 2010-2011) + national health insurance (if you are under 28) + accommodation allowance.
- Applications in October/November. Absolute deadline for reception of the application forms in January and results in April for courses beginning in the following autumn.

The European Union – Erasmus Mundus programme :
The Erasmus Mundus programme launched in 2004 by the European Commission is a co-operation and mobility programme in the field of higher education which promotes the European Union as a centre of excellence in learning around the world.
It supports European top-quality Master Courses and enhances the visibility and attractiveness of European higher education in third countries. It also provides EU-funded scholarships for third country (outside of EU) nationals participating in these Master Courses, as well as scholarships for EU-nationals studying in third countries.

The International Master Vintage and the Food Identity Master run by the Groupe ESA are Erasmus Mundus Master courses and there candidates can be selected for the Erasmus Mundus scholarships.

The ‘Pays de la Loire’ region - ‘Arrival Grant for a foreign student following a Double Diploma Course :

These grants concern foreign students of all nationalities who can fill in two conditions :
- to study in an university having signed a partnership contract with Groupe ESA.
- to be selected to follow a Joint Degree course (Master program) at Groupe ESA for one academic year at least.
Scholarship : 170 € / week (in 2010-2011) for a maximum of 12 months.
Applications before 31 january for courses beginning in the following autumn.

Companies :
Placements : Most of courses that we offer include a compulsory work placement in a company. During this period, the student can often obtain financial aid or an indemnity from this host company.
Work-based learning programmes : French companies wishing to establish themselves or develop existing activities in a foreign country, contact the Groupe ESA to sponsor students from this country wishing to study in France :
- by making a donation to the school (corporate patronage). The Groupe ESA uses the money to grant a monthly allowance to a few students towards their living expenses in France.
- by offering a placement to such a student following a training course at the Groupe ESA.
Applications to file online from 5 October and no later than 28 February, for courses beginning in the following autumn.

Financial aids in the framework of the course at Groupe ESA :
- European students :
Périods of studies in EU : grants from EU (Socrates Erasmus) + 'Pays de la Loire' region.
Workplacements in EU : grants from 'Pays de la Loire' region.
- Students of all nationalities :
Workplacements in European and non-European countries : grants from the French Ministry of Agriculture.
These mobilities must be integrated in their course at Groupe ESA, but mustn't be carried out in their country of origin. The grants are proposed if the students fill in the compulsory conditions. Informations are given to students during their course from International Department of Groupe ESA.

You wish to study at the Groupe ESA within an exchange program for a few months :

European students : Socrates-Erasmus Programme for those students registered at partner institutions of Groupe ESA. Check with your university of origin.
Non-European students : Special scholarships may be granted to students registered at partner institutions of Groupe ESA, if a bilateral agreement has been signed. Check with your university of origin.
