After a Ph.D on cheese ripening, in Canada, I held various positions in the food industry, in Europe : R&D project manager, Quality manager, technical sales and business developer in food ingredients.
Motivated to pass on my knowledge and experience to future engineers in the food industry, I have been a teacher at ESA since 2018, and am in charge of the M cycle programme, in food industry, since 2021.
I am teaching microbiology, food hygien, quality management, to different study level at ESA.
I develop my teaching by introducing every year new methods of active teaching, allowing to mobilize the students around concrete projects.
My objective is to get students to question themselves, to be curious, to have a scientific approach to solve increasingly complex problems according to their level of study.
Some specific areas of interest :
Continuous improvement tools, fermentations (all !), food hygien.
