With a PhD in ethology of the University of Rennes 1, and specialised in animal welfare, Clémence Lesimple is lecturer in the USC URSE research unit at Ecole Supérieure de l’Agriculture in Angers (France). Her research interests focus on animal welfare, the impact of environmental conditions and human management, the integration of animal welfare concerns in the breeding systems and potential interactions with the welfare of professionals. She teaches animal health and welfare in License, engineer and bachelor programs, and she is involved in educational programs for veterinarians and professionals.
