BLUWINE

The BluWine project will encompass the entire wine production chain through a Blue Economy approach, where the vineyard, winemaking process, winery, and its residuals will be interactively linked and strengthened as part of a sustainable strategy. With a strong focus on environmental respect and sustainability, the BluWine project will be a collective effort to drive innovation in viticulture, winemaking, and winery operations, as well as in the management of its residuals. This will include improving grape resistance, managing wine ethanol content, recovering carbon dioxide, optimizing water usage, and recycling grape pomace, among other initiatives.

 Le projet BluWine couvre l’ensemble de la chaîne de production viticole selon une approche d’économie bleue, dans laquelle le vignoble, le processus de vinification, la cave et ses résidus sont reliés de manière interactive et valorisés dans le cadre d’une stratégie durable. Mettant fortement l’accent sur le respect de l’environnement et la durabilité, le projet BluWine constitue un effort collectif visant à stimuler l’innovation dans la filière. Cela inclut notamment l’amélioration de la résistance des cépages, la gestion de la teneur en éthanol du vin, la récupération du dioxyde de carbone, l’optimisation de l’utilisation de l’eau et le recyclage du marc de raisin. Le projet évaluera les impacts tant économiques qu’environnementaux nécessaires à une mise en œuvre réussie.
