From 2005, , Associate professor in the research unit LEVA at Ecole Supérieure des Agricultures (Angers, France).
He leads research on the agro-ecological functions of grain legumes in cropping systems less dependent on external inputs. he has expertise on legume-cereal intercrops (belowground growth of intercropped species and competitive ability of intercrops against weeds). He develops his research in multidisciplinary projects on the study legumes in cropping system with various actors from research and development : WP leader of FEADER PEI-AGRI PROGRAILIVE research project (2015-2019) / Task Leader of ANR PPR SPECIFICS : Sustainable PEst Control In Fabaceae-rich Innovative Cropping System (2020-2026). He has also research experience on the biochemical quality of legumes seed response to field practices : WP leader of ANR Protleg JACK : Just Adopt pulses from Cook to forK (2023-2027).
His teaching mean topics (undergraduate to master level) focuse on agroecology at differents scales : field, cropping system and farm diagnosis.
