She is a PhD candidate in a doctoral project hosted by the research unit of ISTOM and USC URSE at the ESA in Angers, France. Her thesis focuses on the transformation of the role of livestock in the livehoods of farming households in Northern Rwanda. The aim of her research is to understand the role of livestock in meeting the needs of agricultural households, and to explores how livestock contributes to the resilience of households facing multiple challenges in a contexte of demographic changes and evolving agricultural policies.
