Research at ESA is based on three points: Research-Training-Innovation

Organisation

To fulfil our mission, ESA had a direction of research and development and 5 research units. An average of 80 personal (permanent and non-permanent staff), 42 of whom are professors and associated professors, are currently working on the design of sustainable agricultural food systems in our research units.

ESA coordinate or participate in 2 academic Chairs (Chaire Mutation Agricole and Chaire AAPRO) and have close relationship with the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE).

Research Units

Academic results

Our Scientific quality can be evaluated by an average publication of 34 scientific peer review articles and 89 scientific communications per year. Our connection with socio-economics sectors can be seen by the average of 28 contracts per year conducted with national and international companies and our professional network.

Networking

Our partnership is defined by relation agreement with other universities, schools and research institutes in France and Europe.  It is also defined by our relations with European, National and regional public institutions.

Each research unit supports the development of innovation through socio-economic actors, study contracts, service and consultancy. Teams of professors, associated professors, doctoral students, engineers and technicians bring real answers, through systemic and cross-cutting analytical skills and active participation in scientific and professional networks.
