Caroline XAVIER is an associate professor in the USC URSE research unit at Ecole Supérieure des Agricultures (ESA) in Angers (France) since 2025. She completed a joint PhD in Animal Sciences realized between Institut-Agro and INRAE in France and Agroscope in Switzerland. The subject was about the estimation of beef cattle body composition using imaging technology. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship on growing pigs in European and French projects. She teaches fundamental animal physiology to undergraduate and postgraduate students at ESA.
