We were truly pleased to welcome Olha and Oksana, from OHAIT ONAFT – Odessa, Ukraine last week. They are specialised in viticulture – sensory analysis and oenology. We are glad that they have made the great choice of joining us by participating in the Erasmus+ MIC 18 – 20 project.

An international credit mobility project (MIC) is a mobility project between the countries of the Erasmus + program and partner countries of the Erasmus + program. Within the framework of ‘international credit mobility’, the Erasmus + program offers teaching and administrative staff the possibility of carrying out mobility in one of the participating countries.

They attended classes at ESA in line with their discipline such as oenology, viticulture, etc. Etienne Neethlig, the Head of International Vintage Master accompanied them. They cheerfully tasted white and red wines from SHABO, the local Ukranian company.

They also had a chance to visit vineyards, Valley Domaine FL and Domaine LeBreton, in the Loire. Lastly, they visited the ‘Salon de l’Agriculture 2020’, Paris International Agricultural Trade Show. It’s an annual meeting for key players in agriculture, not only from France, but all around the world.

Equally important, in connection with the continuity of our collaboration in Erasmus+ MIC 18 – 20 project, ESA will give classes to ONAFT students. This will be the last part of our project together in May. Furthermore, ESA will participe in the Oeno Summit held by other partners.
