Overview
MSc CGE a one or two year master programme specialize in sustainability and the overall performance of AgriFoodChain. Entirely taught in English, it provides a unique combination of agronomy, sustainability and business management.
Based at ESA Guyancourt Campus, this master trains future leaders to design and manage agri-food supply chains that are efficient, transparent and climateresilient.
The curriculum combines scientific knowledge (agronomy, data science, logistics) with strategic and managerial skills (CSR, data analytics, risk management). A strong focus is placed on decarbonisation, ethical sourcing, and digital innovation.
Through academic coursework, applied research, case studies, and industry placements, students gain a deep understanding of both biological systems and business operations, preparing them to design and manage food supply chains that are both profitable and sustainable.
The AgriFoodChain MSc is organised in two or four semesters combining academic courses, professional projects and international exposure.
One-year MSc: for candidates holding a validated 4-year degree (minimum 450 hours of coursework over at least 10 months). This programme is equivalent to a Master’s second year (M2) and leads to a Bac+5 level degree.
Two-year MSc: for candidates holding a validated 3-year degree (minimum 700 hours of coursework over at least 15 months). This programme is equivalent to a full Master’s (M1 + M2) and also leads to a Bac+5 level degree.

The MSC AgriFoodChain (AFC) is an ESA diploma, accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE). As such, it is highly recognised for its academic quality and its attractiveness to businesses and employment. However, it does not award a master’s degree and the ECTS credits awarded may not be recognised by other schools in France or abroad, particularly in cases of plans to pursue doctoral studies or applications for civil service competitions.
