Erasmus+ Days: 5 Days Celebrating International Exchange at ESA
The 2026 Erasmus+ Days took place from October 12 to 16. During this event, ESA celebrated the international experiences of its students and staff, as well as the many mobility opportunities offered by European and international programs.
At ESA, international engagement is an important aspect of the educational experience.
In 2025–2026:
- more than 400 ESA students went abroad for study or internship opportunities.
- more than 200 students received support from the Erasmus+ program for their mobility experiences.
These mobility opportunities allow students to develop their skills, discover new academic and professional environments, and enjoy an enriching intercultural experience.
More than 150 international students are starting the school year at ESA
Since September, many students from various countries—who have come to pursue one or more years of study in our programs—have arrived in Angers and begun exploring their new surroundings and French culture. To help them settle in, the Welcome Desk has prepared a welcome kit to make their first steps in France easier.
All of these initiatives, including the welcome kit, are made possible thanks to the support of the ESA Endowment Fund, the City of Angers, and the Erasmus+ France Agency.
ESA and Angers Join Forces to Welcome International Students
The ESA Welcome Desk
Every year, ESA’s welcome coordinators help new international students get started. As students themselves, they share advice, recommendations, and their own experiences with student life to help new students settle in.
This year, a big thank you to Calvin and Léa for their dedication to our newcomers!

The ESA Welcome Desk also supports international students from admission through graduation by helping them navigate the process and answering their practical questions.
Finally, our civic service volunteers contribute to the school’s international community by helping students with their language learning.
The City of Angers Welcomes International Students
To wrap up a wonderful week of Erasmus+ Days, our international students were invited by the City of Angers to an evening event bringing together all students enrolled at higher education institutions.
Beyond simply welcoming students, this initiative fosters exchanges among students and helps strengthen ties within Angers’ international student community.
A big thank you to the City of Angers for organizing this event and for its commitment to welcoming international students!
