- To analyze the economic, geopolitical and sociologic environment
- To understand the geopolitical aspect of international trade relations
- To detect, understand and analyze the challenges of agricultural globalization: The winners and losers of globalization (farming communities around the world).
- To analyze the role of international institutions (Rules of international trade and agricultural development policies)

Comparing agricultural policies
