With an engineering degree and a PhD in agronomy, Rim Baccar currently works at the unit research “Legumes, Crop Ecophysiology, Agroecology” (LEVA) and is the Head of Agronomy & Ecology department. Having a background in agronomy, she performed a PhD on the effect of agronomic practices on the plasticity of winter wheat in interaction with Septoria tritici, a foliar disease. Currently, she carries research on plant association including legumes. Her most recent publication is ‘Differences for traits associated with early N acquisition in a grain legume and early complementarity in grain legume–triticale mixtures’. She worked recently on two European projects: DiverIMPACTS (H2020) dealing with crop diversification in agri-value chains in Europe and SEGAE (Erasmus+) dealing with the production of a serious game for the agroecological transition at farm level.
