Ben Arfa Nejla, Economist, Ph. D. graduated from the Social Science, Economics and Management department, of Paris Institute of Technology 2011, France. She worked in the French National Dairy Industry Center (Cniel) from 2005 to 2009. Since 2010, she has been a researcher in Agricultural & Applied Economics in the Social Science and Economics Research Unit (LARESS) at ESA Angers. She has so far focused on the role of agricultural policies and agglomeration economies on the structural change and the spatial distribution of agricultural activities in France, especially dairy sector. She has worked on the impact of the changes happening in agriculture namely agroecological and technological innovations on the economic and environmental performances of farms and territories. She has used several methodological tools including: Econometrics, Markov Chain, Entropy Econometrics, Spatial Econometrics, Mathematical Programming, multivariate and qualitative methods. She has dealt with both data form National or European surveys and from questionnaires with a particular focus on interdisciplinary approaches.
