She is associate professor in Ecole Supérieure des Agricultures (Angers, France). Having a background in Ecology and Soil Biology, she performed a PhD dealing with soil biodiversity response to forest management (2003). From 2011, at ESA, her research focusses on the impact of legumes in intercrops on soil organic matter quality and above- and belowground interactions for soil nitrogen availability.  She investigates the role of plant functional diversity and functional groups of soil fauna (microorganisms and earthworms) by a better understanding of their complementarity effect on crop performances. She teaches and coordinates courses of fundamental ecology and applied ecology to agroecosystems in Master and Bachelor of Science degrees.
