Internationalisation and Sustainability, can we ? Yes we can.
ESA Angers is part of the IROICA . Its objective is to share the best practises and to tackle the todays and tomorrow’s key topics.
This year, the event’s theme was: ‘Internationalisation and Sustainability, can we ? Yes we can.’
To answer it, several international associations and companies were presenting their initiatives to raise awareness on carbon footprint among staff, teachers, and students. Besides, many tools as the calculator « carbon footprint » were introduced. IROICA Staff Training was also a good opportunity to share good practises implemented by Higher Education Institutions; and particularly on the arrangements set up at the department level in every institution.
The Network, CANIE – Climate Action Network for International Educators insisted on raising awareness of behavioural change to decrease the carbon footprint; all through the need of planning. To inspire us, examples of initiatives by universities were given.
👏 This 26th edition was a condensed toolbox with very good ideas, getting ESA Angers to lead new discussions on the topics.
