The MSc in Integrated Food Studies offers a 360-degree education on food, providing a unique interdisciplinary and holistic perspective on the food sector. Drawing on the natural, technological, business, and social sciences, the programme examines food systems from production and processing to consumption, innovation, and entrepreneurship, integrating both the intrinsic qualities of food and the extrinsic factors that shape its value and perception. Graduates develop the knowledge and skills to address the complex challenges of sustainable and resilient food systems through both scientific and social perspectives.

The MSc programme combines academic learning with applied experiences through lectures, workshops, practical activities, case studies, factory visits, and food laboratory work. The first year provides a common foundation in integrated food studies, while the second year allows students to deepen their expertise through elective case studies and specialisation opportunities.

The programme maintains strong links with the food sector through collaboration with researchers, industry professionals, public agencies, and partner institutions, ensuring a close connection between scientific knowledge and professional practice.

The programme is delivered in accordance with the requirements of the Diplôme National de Master (DNM) and the competencies defined in the RNCP Code No.39195.

The programme is organised over two years (four semesters), with options for full-time study or a two-year alternance (work-study) pathway, as well as international mobility opportunities.

Year 1: Foundations in Integrated Food Studies

The first year provides students with a multidisciplinary foundation in food, combining scientific, technological, socio-economic, and cultural perspectives.
