main objectives

The aim of the module is to understand the notion of diversification of agro-ecosystems on various temporal and spatial scales, via privileged emblematic study objects: interest of legumes in the diversification of cropping systems and the place of trees in agricultural landscapes in particular.

Three main themes will be developed in this module:,- Agriculture and biodiversity and the role of trees in agricultural landscapes,- Diversification and design of innovative cropping systems through the insertion of legumes.,- Tools and approach for the co-design and tracking of innovative and diversified cropping systems using legumes, support for change, role of legumes and diversity of uses and methods of introduction into cropping systems.,- Diversity of farms and acceptance of agroecology: How do farms fit into the landscape? What place for farmers in networks and collectives? What acceptances of agroecology do, and don’t, farmers claim? What technical transcriptions of agroecology? ,

Lectures.,Personal work on this module around innovative practices involving the diversification of production systems (mobilizing scientific literature) + poster session.,Visits to farms & interviews with farmers then collective debriefing (accompanied work).,

Poster on agroecological practices + oral presentation in the form of a pitch.
