Social regulation and environment

main objectives

This module aims to help you to better integrate institutional, economic and social frameworks when involved in action for environmental protection. You will learn the basics of environmental law and how to further investigate the legal framework of a specific environmental problem. With a view to better managing the conflictual nature of many environmental issues, you will learn to understand social organisations and to take them into account in the context of real projects and actions. Finally, you will be invited to explore the question of how the environment can be valued from both market and non-market perspectives.
