Pays de la Loire Territoires d’Innovation

This website devoted to innovation is aimed at SMEs in the Loire region. In addition to being a directory listing the expertise of laboratories and technological resource and service centres in the Pays de la Loire, it provides useful information for companies that wish to innovate: relevant contacts, supportive mechanisms, the latest news and information on innovation, as well as testimonials that serve as examples.

Objectif végétal

“Objectif Végétal” brings together all the players in the plant sector in the Pays de la Loire and sets out a collective road map to turn the Region, within five years, into an international excellence cluster for training, research and innovation on specialised plants.

RFI en Pays de la Loire

As part of its Higher Education, Research and Innovation Programme 2014-2020, the Pays de la Loire Region is supporting the development of ten themes in which it excels in its territory (digital, plant, food, etc.) by encouraging integrated approaches to Research – Training and Education – Innovation (R-F-I).

Established in the Pays de la Loire, VEGEPOLYS is a global competitiveness cluster that benefits from the unique concentration in Europe of companies, research centres and training in the field of plants. Its objective is to become the world reference cluster on the production (creation and cultivation practices) of specialised plants that respect the environment and health.

ESA has initiated a policy of scientific alliance with INRA, resulting in the creation of research units under contracts with several departments of INRA.

VinOpôle – Centre Val de Loire

ESA is one of the various actors involved in research, initial and continuous education and training, and transfer to the profession, which have joined with the wine industry and received support from the inter-branch organisations, the Région Centre, the Département and the State to give birth to the VinOpôle Centre Val de Loire. The structuring of the cluster requires the setting up of R&D working groups and the development of higher education study programmes in viticulture in the Région Centre-Val de la Loire. The aim is also to strengthen regional, interregional, national and international exchanges that could contribute to the boosting the reputation and identity of training in the Région Centre-Val de Loire region and thus to the reputation of our wine industry.
