SUMMER PROGRAM : international students participate in the study of the question of sustainability in food systems

Within the framework of our relationships with US University partners, 40 students and 5 professors discover during 1 month facets of the French food system and particularly from the sustainable development perspective.

40 students from 8 American universities (Auburn University, Illinois State University, University of Maryland, University of Minnesota, North Dakota State University, Texas A&M, University of Wisconsin-Madison et University of Wyoming) have been hosted with french families for a better immersion in the French culture, on june 2015.

Their program :
- cultural trips (Paris, the Loire Valley, Normandy, Brittany)
- visits to regional companies
- 4 week course on the theme of sustainable food system.
Courses have benn be taught in English by twenty teachers from the departments of Agronomy & Ecology, Culture, Language & Communication, Economics & Social Sciences, Technology Food & Bioresources, viticulture and oenology.
