The challenges
The animal production sector, an economic pillar of the Great West of France is today at a watershed: while remaining technically competitive, it must find the answers to the many expectations that society has, many of which concern environmental impact, well-being, and animal and human health. Studying how the livestock industry can rise to meet this challenge is the main objective of ESA in order to train students to be at the forefront of change in livestock production sectors.
